Hartshill Academy is pleased to celebrate the nation and people of Ukraine and display a strong symbol of solidarity. We stand alongside this proud nation with our public display of sunflowers at our front gates (the Ukrainian national flower), our staff and pupils wearing something yellow and blue day, and the selling of sunflower seeds for our 'Grow a Sunflower for Ukraine Competition'.
We raised over £600 pounds at Hartshill Academy. Michael Drayton Junior School and Nathaniel Newton also joined us with the selling of sunflowers and in total we hope to raise over £1000 pounds in our community.
